•    The New Level 1 Award in Wines is an entry level qualification providing a straightforward introduction to wine. It is ideal for training new wine staff and is also a great course for wine lovers eager to learn more.

•    You will learn systematic wine tasting techniques and the basics of wine-and-food matching – with a chance to do some food-wine pairings of your own!

•    This session also includes a fun and instructive segment on how to read wine lists and appraise them.

•    You will achieve certification for this internationally recognized qualification by passing a simple multiple-choice exam held at the end of the course.

• Spirits and liqueurs

• Label terminology

• Food and wine matching
