Wine & Spirit Education Trust Training
Dragon Phoenix Fine Wine Consulting has the highest trained tutors with the most experience in higher education. We can offer competitive rates and more regular courses, especially designed to suit the availability and working hours of your staff. Foundation level classes can be offered at our venue or at your workplace and will have full course literature and other learning aids provided.
- WSET Foundation: an ideal introduction to the wines of the world, the global wine business and wine hospitality services and retail. Involves multiple choice exam, food-and-wine matching exercise and compilation of a portfolio of tasting notes.
- WSET Intermediate: offers broader and more detailed coverage of all product categories and their production for wines and spirits with tutored tasting exercises. Involves multiple-choice examination only.
- WSET Advanced: advanced level coverage of the global wine and spirits markets with higher-level tasting tuition. Assessment includes multiple-choice paper, short written exam and blind-tasting of one wine.

Wine List Creation
Finding the right wines for your restaurant and/or hotel requires professional, on-going help. Too many Chinese wine lists are poorly chosen, confusingly organized and with only limited Chinese-English explanation for customers. Many also only cover the wines of one importer who may not have the right wines for your needs and may not also help you with your list once it is up-and-running. As independent consultants, our unique services include:
