Our courses include:


The Art of Wine Tasting (7 classes)

Learn the art (and science!) of wine tasting through a series of tutored workshops led by professional tasters and educators. This course is designed to be suitable for both novices and those who would like to expand their knowledge. You will learn:
  • How to develop your tasting skills like a professional
  • How to describe wines and expand your wine vocabulary
  • How to assess the essential characteristics of seven of the world’s major grape varieties
  • How to identify a wine’s region of production through blind-tasting

Each class will focus on one of the major grape varieties. During each session 6-8 wines from the same grape variety will be tasted, all from different areas of production. We will cover the seven main ‘noble varieties’ providing excellent examples of each grape.


Wine & Spirit Education Trust Courses

As Beijing’s newest WSET® Programme Provider, we are offering three levels of WSET tuition: Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced. Our instructors are the highest qualified WSET tutors in Beijing, and have the most experience in higher education. Fongyee Walker is also Beijing’s only WSET Recommended Tutor and Assessor

Wine Receptions, Lunches & Dinners

Dragon Phoenix Fine Wines can independently select superb wines to serve at your meetings, receptions, lunches and/or dinners. We source wines to suit a range of budgets: from essentially high-quality good value examples to the finest and rarest bottles available. With our entirely independent position in the Beijing market, we can personally select your wines without adhering to one company’s portfolio and without having to promote big or any other brands. We provide:
  • Wine Selection for weddings, product launches, promotions, banquets, celebrations and dinner parties. These will meet any budget or scale requested.
  • Impartial and independent wine sourcing. We will pick the best wines for you and your event.
  • Wine pairing with appetizers and/or main courses as well as full banquet menus.
